The Different Features Between Ferrule Type and Inter-woven Type Cable Mesh

The flexible stainless steel cable mesh is using stainless steel cable rope and ferrules as material, produced by special production craft. It normally has two types, the ferrule type, and the interwoven type.

The material of the ferrule can be stainless steel, aluminum, brass, etc. And the production craft is pressing, and the inter-woven mesh is made by hand-woven, so it is also called handwoven mesh.

The features of the ferrule type cable mesh are flexibility and article appearance, it has the double function of decoration and protection. Ferrule-type cable mesh is often used in animal enclosures, bird aviaries, handrail infill, fence infill, and other space for decoration. The inter-woven type of cable mesh is lighter than the ferrule type, also with higher transparency, it is more often used for animal enclosures, bird aviaries, and some special locations for protection.

Please note that because the production craft is different, the size limits for ferrule type and inter-woven type mesh are different.

The ferrule type mesh has no limit in the width direction, and the length is normally under 50 meters.

The inter-woven type mesh has no limit in the width direction, and the length is normally under 10 meters.
